Google Review: Sarah on Bali Grief Trip
I came across happy grieving/grief trips on Instagram and following this I booked a call with Rachel who discussed the trip with me, answered all my questions and sent me the relevant info so I could decide if I wanted to take the trip to Bali.
I am SO glad that I did, the trip is the perfect blend of having the opportunity to explore and travel whilst not having to censor our emotions and hide our grief, we enjoyed dinner whilst talking about our loved ones who are no longer here, we could talk about how heavy we were feeling whilst still partaking in activities judgment free. I found being relatively young (30s) and having experienced multiple losses that grief trips was a safe space to meet others who had experienced similar losses at a similar age. I am grateful to Rachel for opening up grief trips and an opportunity to connect people from across the world. There is no pressure to share and you can contribute as much or as little as you wish.
I felt drawn to Bali due to the spiritual aspects, such as the water cleansing and fire ceremony, however each trip of course has its own merits depending on what you're looking for. If you're thinking of doing a grief trip I would fully recommend!
