Grief Yoga and the Power of “I Wish I Told You”
During our grief yoga session on the Portugal Grief Trip, our instructor Hebe handed us torn paper and a prompt: "I wish I told you..."
We wrote, then lay in savasana as she read our words aloud in a soft voice. Hearing my own sentence spoken in a space where it would be understood felt like a warm hug. Eight different voices wove together into one chorus of love and loss.
In that moment, our individual grief became part of something universal. We felt seen, connected, and held. Profound doesn't even begin to cover it.
